Marty was a very special person, a wonderful neighbor and friend to my mom and all others who knew him. He will be missed by all. When special people touch your lives they never really leave you.

My heart goes out to the Gawenda Family. As a fellow firefighter I always looked up to Marty and often told him that if I could be half the person and firefighter as he was it would be quite an accomplishment. We all will miss him.
