I was sorry to learn of the passing of both Walter and Lala Pomierski over the past few months. Having grown up in Bridgeport, on 31st Place, I have childhood memories of both of them when they were young and so much in love. I lived down the street from Lala and remember Walter picking her up for dates in his convertible. How attractove they both were, and so much in love! I'm pleased to know they went on to have a long, wonderful life together with many children and grandchildren around them. I'm sure they are both missed!

Felice & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. Grief is such a deep feeling, but then, so is joy & love. I heard a poem recently that included this phrase: "If I subtract my grief from joy, what is left? Tell me, old friend, how does it balance?"
It made me smile and remember the "innumerable years" of joy and love and laughter and family times together. Blessings to you and yours always.
(the poem is titled "Late Night, Year's End, Doing the Books with Tu Fu" by Joseph Stroud.)
