Julie and Janice,
I am so sorry to hear the passing of your beautiful Mother Joan. May you find peace in our Lords promise that your Mother is already in Heaven with your Father and all of the family members and friends that have gone before her. They have all joined at the banquet table to welcome and honor her. As your Mother looks around at the beauty and pure splendor of Heaven she feels a tug on her heart and senses your sadness. She is telling you all that she is fine, that Heaven is even more beautiful and peaceful than we imagined. You may not hear her right now, for your loss is great. Overtime the sting will retreat, you will learn to live with the whole in your heart and as you settle into your new world you will hear her speaking to you again. It may be a bird singing a morning song, the fall leaves brushing against the earth or a gentle rain on your windowsill. Let yourself be free from our earthly limitations and open up to your Faith, there you will find your peace.
All my love and respect to you both and your families.
