My deepest condolences to the family for your loss.Truly heartbreaking. Our Heavenly Father gives us a beautiful thought when He promises us that soon death will be "swallowed up forever." (1 Cor. 15:54) Along with this, God also guarantees that ones who have died will be able to live again.  (John 5:28,29) I hope these encouraging scriptures can bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

Tom and I are so sorry for your loss. He fought to the very end to stay with all of you. May he remain forever in your hearts.

We had a wonderful grandfather,
One who never really grew old;
His smile was made of sunshine,
And his heart was solid gold;
His eyes were as bright as shining stars,
And in his cheeks fair roses you see.
We had a wonderful grandfather,
And that’s the way it will always be.

I can only echo my neice Lisa’s beautiful words about her gramps, my Dad. As I type these letters on my keypad, it will soon be exactly 1 week to the minute that my Dad passed on with his hand in mine as his soul released from its physical body. Temporarily, that is, until Jesus comes again and restores his body glorified anew and perfect in every way as his soul waits with God and in company with Dad’s family and loved ones gone before him. I miss Dad  incredibly and forever will. Thank you to those who on this website left kind and supportive words and deeds about my Dad and for our family. Thank you to all who stopped to pay final respects to Dad and give us your love and support. It made all the difference in this very difficult and sorrowful time.
