Allan James Petrulis

Allan J. Petrulis, a Vietnam Army veteran and retired CFD, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (nee Kelley); father of Bryan (Jayme), Aaron Sr, (Carrie), Scott (Becky); step-father of Kevin McSweeney and Theresa (Jeff) Aron; grandfather of 8; brother-in-law of John (Anna) Kelley, Joseph (late Jeannie) Kelley, late Diane, late Frankie, and the late David Kelley; grandfather of Jayson, Allyson, Aaron Jr., Aurora, Alex, Anthony, Austin, and Katrina.

Allan served with The Chicago Fire Department Air & Sea Rescue Unit, and was an avid diver. He was a member of the American Legion Post Darius Girenas   Post #271.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 3-8:00 pm and Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 8:30-9:30 am . Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Thursday May 2, 2024 at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, 1039 West 32nd Street, Chicago. Interment St. Casimir  Cemetery.
