Carmel Joan McManus

C. Joan McManus, 88. Originally of Salem MA. passed away quietly on November 11^th while holding the hand of her son. Those of you who were lucky enough to know her will know that she was a devoted wife and mother and one of the hardest working people you could have met. She was easy to laugh, smarter than she gave herself credit for and a great lover of life. She lived well and long and had no regrets. She is survived by a loving family and too many friends to count. She will be deeply missed and we all wish her the best on her journey.

At her request, there will be no formal service but it is asked that anyone who is able should do an act of charity in her name. As she said many times, the only thing that matters is that we do good for each other. Love you mom.
