David Coady

Da-Great. The Giant. David  James Coady (12/16/47 - 12/19/18) passed  peacefully away in his 2nd favorite place on earth, New Orleans. Loving son, beloved brother,devoted father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Edna Coady, and his brother Michael. He is survived by his two brothers, Patrick (Amy Cliff) and Paul (Kathleen), his sister Martha Coady (Robert P. Fabish), his daughters Kathleen (Mark) Wilde and Dianne, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Vietnam Army Veteran, 30 year retired CPD, FOP, VFW, American Legion Post #231, and Canaryville Veterans Association. He is loved by many and will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and love of Da Bears and Cubs..

Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 3-9:00 pm at Pomierski Funeral Home, 1059 W. 32nd Street., with a wake service at 7 p.m. A Graveside service will be Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at  Mount Hope Cemetery, 11500 South Fairfield Avennue, Chicago,, IL 60655  (773)927-6424
