Donald J. Byrne

Donald J. Byrne, was the loving brother of Valerie, Michelle (Eric) Pineda, and David; son of the late Donald E. and Shirley (nee Bodzianowski); only niece  Manda Johnson; brother-in-law of Jeff Johnson; nephew of Aunt Chris; cousin and friend of many. He was a friend of April and "step-dad" of Joel, the late Nathan, Rainne, and Skye.

Don loved the outdoors, fishing, and  hunting. He was a longtime employee at Ace, not only servicing customers but acting as a mentor to coworkers.

Visitation for Donald will be Friday, July 18, 2025 at Walter Pomierski & Son ,1059 West 32nd Street, Chicago from 3:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, July 19th from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A 10:00 am mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 19th at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, 1038 West 32nd Street, Chicago, followed by a graveside interment at Resurrection Cemetery. (773)927-6424.
