Traveling alone and with very little money, Esteban made his way to Chicago in search of a better life for his family. Upon securing a job with Burlington Northern, from where he ultimately retired, he brought his family to their new home Being very handy and determined, he fixed what required repair and crafted what he wanted including his own charcoal grills. He loved tending his garden and lawn and he was blessed with a green thumb. He loved Spanish music and often sat in front of his stereo playing loud music for the whole house to hear. He was a true patriarch in every sense of the word. Esteban
was loved and
will be missed by all that knew him.
