Irene Zima

Irene Rita Zima was the beloved daughter of the late Jospeh and late Catherine (nee Szepanski) and the loving sister of  the late Mary, Josephine, Walter, Al, Bruno, Charlotte, Bernice, Carol, Pauline, Stanley, and Harriette; the fond aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a friend of many.

Irene was a die-hard Cubs fan and attended a Cubs game just last month! She was an active member of St. Barbara Altar and Rosary Sodality, St. Barbara Ladies Guild, and St. Barbara Seniors.

Visitation for Irene will be Friday, October 29th from 9:00 to 11:00 am at St. Barbara Church, 2859 South Throop Street, Chicago, IL 60608. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Barbara Church. INT. Resurrection Cemetery. (773)927-6424 www.pomierskifuneralhome.com
