Isabelle Anderson

Isabelle "Belle" D. Anderson, passed away October 2 after battling cancer for 1-1/2 years;born November 8, 1937 she was the beloved daughter of the late John and late Bessie (nee Pawlowski) Anderson; fond sister of Chester and  the late Celia, Joseph, Jack, Valentine, Bernice,  and Richard; loving aunt and grand-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Until a year ago, Belle was a lifelong resident of Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. During her 40 years (1962 thru 2002) of teaching at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School in Chicago, she also served as Volleyball and Basketball Coach, Chair of the  Physical Education Department, and Athletic Director. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery following a private family service Tuesday  at Pomierski & Son F.H., 1059 W. 32nd St. (773)927-6424. www.pomierskifuneralhome.com
