Ricardo "Rick" Lopez

Ricardo "Rick" Lopez, age 52, passed away unexpectedly August 27, 2020. He was born in Mexico to Ramona and the late Rosendo Lopez and is the loving husband of Patricia (nee Medina); father of Ricardo Steven (Olivia), Martina (Casey), and Ashlee; brother of Luis (Cynthia), Eduardo (Anna), and Rosendo (Teresa); son-in-law of Linda Aquino; uncle; and friend of many.

Rick was a die hard Cubs and Bears fan. He especially loved futbol. A grill master and ultimate handyman, Rick also played the piano and was a DJ. He worked at Chicago Metal Fabricators.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, from 3-9:00 pm and Wednesday 8-9:00 am at Pomierski & Son Funeral Home, 1059 West 32nd Street, Chicago. A 10:00 am mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at St. Agnes of Bohemia Catholic Church, 2651 South Central Park Avenue, Chicago. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
