Pomierski, Walter Jr., beloved husband of the late Aurelia (nee Tomaszewski); loving father of Felice (Andrew) Allen, Michelle, Walter III (Brenda), Thaddeus (Veronica), and the late Dorle; dear grandfather of Alexander and Felicia Allen, Jasmine, Cassie, Ariel, and Brittany Pomierski; brother of the late Carol Ann; fond uncle, cousin, and friend of many. After serving in the Army in WWII he joined his father at Walter Pomierski & Son Funeral Home and served the Bridgeport community for over 60 years, helping people at their time of need. A member of the Funeral Directors Services Association, V.F.W. Bridgeport Post #5079, and 4th Degree Archbishop Quigley Council K. of C. Funeral Saturday 9:30 am from Walter Pomierski Funeral Home , 1059 W. 32nd Street, to St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church for 10 am Mass. Interment. Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3-9:00pm.
